In the era without street lights, the invention of lanterns that was not only essential very innovative. In Odawara lodging town in Tokaido, Odawara lanterns of the bellows style were first invented here, Odawara Yadoi Miyuke Interchange Hall regularly uses “Bamboo Hiko and Japanese paper” every month to do the “Odawara Lantern Production Experience” that makes only one lantern. Why do not you make an original lantern drawing original paintings or letters in memories of your trip.
◎ Lantern production experience is held on the second and fourth Sunday of every month.
