Not only perishable foods but freshly baked bread, side dishes and also Hiratsuka’s famous foods such as Satsumaage (deep‐fried minced fish and vegetables) and Japanese sweets are also lined up. A lottery event will be held on the market days so that you can tokens which can be used to purchase things inside the FUREAI MARKET. The opening hour is short so it seems like regular customers are already heading to get the products they want and waiting in line before the shops even open.
