Waga Eshima

Japan’s oldest harbor construction site. The Timberza Coast was very crowded with boats entering Kamakura from various parts of Japan during the Kamakura period. With cooperation, I built an island with Izu stone. At low tide, you can also enjoy kite playing.

ACCESS

From JR Kamakura Station East Exit No. 7 bus stop, take the “Iijima” stop to “Isojima via Kotsubo” and walk about 3 minutes. Alternatively, take the 7th bus stop at JR Choshi Station and the 4th bus stop at Shin-Zushi Station on the Keihin Kyuko Line.
