Hiratsuka City Multipurpose Park

Hiratsuka City Multipurpose Park

Hiratsuka City Multipurpose Park was completed in March 1991 to commemorate the 50th anniversary by the municipality on the site of the former Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry and Fruit Tree Experiment Station.  Inside the park are many authentic sports facilities including, Hiratsuka Baseball Stadium, Hiratsuka Sports Field, Hiratsuka Multipurpose Gymnasium, a heated swimming pool, and tennis court. Some of the other areas in the park are Hiratsuka Harappa Field and Wanpaku Field where a large wooden playground can be found, and a petting zoo (free entry). There is a Japanese garden where you can enjoy the many trees and occasional flowers in all four seasons. A cherry blossom field is also located in the park where you can delight in the beautiful blossoms in the spring. Whenever you are able to come to the park you will always find a warm welcome waiting for you.
