Sanseirou

Sanseirou

This is a sweets shop in the Zushi Ginza shopping area. It is over 50 years old. Their signboard product, “Namiko Saichu”, is named after Kenjiro Tokutomi’s best selling novel, “Hototogisu”, that gives praise to the famous Namiko Fudou and started people’s interests in these sweets. There are two types, the less sweet Japanese chestnut and azuki beans, and the mashed sweet potato red bean jam. Zushi’s old name is connected to the popular matcha flavored steamed cake, “Kashiwabara”. You can enjoy the elegant sweetness and rich flavors of these sweets.
