Yamago

Yamago

This bamboo specialty shop is a 5 minute walk from the east exit of Kamakura Station. In addition to flower baskets and confectioneries, they also sell small items such as fans, chopsticks, bamboo charcoal, tea ceremony tools, and netsuke (miniature carvings). The flower basket inside the store is made of mountain grass, which offers a moment of healing. There are also rental spaces and galleries with tatami mat rooms near the shop. In addition to workshops and small-scale solo exhibitions, it is ideal for tea ceremonies and dressing classes.
