This store is part of Akimoto Foods, a tsukemono (pickled vegetables) manufacturer. “Making safe and delicious pickles” is their motto, and they have a large variety of tsukemono that is made with carefully selected ingredients. The appearance of the store matches with the warehouse image of old Kamakura. The inside of the shop has seasonal tsukemono, pickled plums, lightly pickled vegetables, and well-pickled vegetables that give off the elegance of Kamakura. You can take these back as souvenirs or try them yourself at home.
