Perry Park

Perry Park

This park commemorates Perry’s landing. Inside the park is the “Perry Memorial Hall”, which displays historical materials and dioramas related to the arrival of Perry, and the “Perry Landing Monument”, which was built by the American Friends Association in 1901. For those who wish to attend, guides (free) can take you on a 15 minutes tour explaining the history of Perry Park. In addition, they also have a ceremony, called “Kurihama Perry Festival”, every year in the middle of July.
