Kamakura Nohbutai
In 1970, the Kamakura Noh Theater was established in order to promote and spread the Japanese traditional cultural art known as the “Noh Theater” (UNESCO World Intangible Cultural Heritage). Although the main stage is a little small, the Noh performance can be seen from the back seats as well from the bridge. In addition to organizing the regular performance of “Noh wo Shiru Kai”, the stage is used as a Noh Museum where the stage, Noh mask, and Noh costumes are on display for the public. People can also use the theater for their own exhibitions.
