Morito Shrine

Morito Shrine

The Morito Shrine (MoritoOmijin) is worshed by Hojo Yoritomo, Miyoshi Ashikagi, as well as Hayama Masayuki, standing by the seaside, there are many worshipers. In the sacred air, there is a thousand pine trees on a rocky mountain, a red gate standing on an isolated island offshore, a sunset view overlooking Mount Fuji and Enoshima, which are all breathtakingly beautiful. This area was chosen as one of the top fifty scenic areas of Kanagawa. There are two round stone trees, in front of the Shogunate in the Shrine, and you are blessed with good fortune when you stroke it with your hand. The “Koi Guardian” is also a famous sport, with where there are lots of fruits and shellfish.
