【NEWS】Announcement Regarding “Infection Prevention Support Book for Travelers” and “Visualization of Congestion”
In Kanagawa Prefecture, we have taken measures to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) while creating a support handbook for travelers with details regarding precautions and etiquettes to be utilized before and during travel to prevent the spread of the virus in order to ensure individuals enjoy their travels with a peace of mind. In addition, we will be introducing 4 ways to check the latest updates on congestion to have travelers enjoy exploring within Kanagawa Prefecture while taking preventative measures for the novel coronavirus.
・Mobile Spatial Statistics… Through the “Mobile Spatial Statistics” offered by NTT Docomo and Docomo Insight Marketing, the population distribution (with each side of 500 meters in length) can be calculated from approximately the past hour to the last 24 hours.
・Yahoo! Map Congestion Reader… is an online “congestion reader” of 5 different areas within the prefecture linked to the “Yahoo! Map” made available to the public by Yahoo! JAPAN.
・Popular Visiting Hours… When searching for the name of the place you’d like to visit, oftentimes the “popular visiting hours” separate from the search results will be shown on the right side (or at the bottom via smartphone) of the section with information regarding the business.
・Information on Traffic Congestion… The latest updates can be checked through the “Road Traffic Information Now!!” made public by the Japan Road Traffic Information Center.
Please be sure to check before visiting.
