The 43rd Yokosuka Moshishi Parade
The traditional Rumikoshi Parade is a powerful event where many shrines and floats gathered from various places in the city walk through Chuo Odori from the front of Yokosuka Chuo Station.
Mikoshi crosses the gate, enters the US Navy Yokosuka base, and passes Clement Street in the base.
A dash of shouts and lions reverberate throughout the base, a festival that can only be seen in Yokosuka, where the traditional Japanese atmosphere matches the American atmosphere.
