On Saturday, March 10, 24 Embassy Delegation Embassy staff members and their families from 14 countries, including the United States, Greece, Chile, etc, participated in the event ‘s event exchange tour in Hayama, Kanagawa Prefecture.

○ Yoga experience while watching the ocean
A party who departed from Tokyo, first to Hayama Mariner. Together with the morning fresh air, I relaxed mentally and physically with a yoga experience while watching the ocean.


Lunch at restaurant with sea view
I am having a little hunger with yoga and have lunch at the restaurant “La Mare” where you can see the sea. We enjoyed seafood salads using local ingredients, Muniel of Edo-Eko stuff and shrimp of Shirasu with delicious SHONAN scenery.


○ Sagami Bay cruise
After lunch, it is a cruise at Hayama Marina. While enjoying the early spring breeze, I enjoyed Morito, Ichika, the coastal scenery of Hayama that followed Mt. Otogasaki and the torii of Morito Shrine floating in the sea.

○ Visit Modern Art Museum Hayama
Next is the tour of Hayama Museum of Modern Art. Together with a special exhibition by Ms. Fumiko Hori who is 100 years old this year, I also saw the sculpture in the vast site and the sea view of SHONAN and enjoyed exchanges with language volunteers in Hayama cho.

○ Calligraphy experience in Shonan International Village
I experienced calligraphy which is Japanese culture at Shonan International Village Center. While teaching by calligraphy teacher, I wrote kanji such as “sea”, “beauty”, “wind” etc. related to this tour on a colored paper and brought it back to the memorial of the tour.


○ Souvenirs at HAYAMA STATION
At the end of the trip, I bought local vegetables, special products, sweets etc at HAYAMA STATION for my trip memories.
