Tsukui Okonomiyaki
Located in a narrow alley right in front of the Enoden exit of the Kamakura station, there is “Tsukui”, an okonomiyaki restaurant that has a great reputation among the people of Kamakura. The busy main street you can see today, however, according to the restaurant owner Akiharu Kakizawa, it used to be a quiet town back in 1971, the same year Tsukui opened its doors for the first time. Retaining the interior atmosphere as it was back to when it was first opened, and facing a Japanese-style garden, there are Japanese-style seats and nice table seats. There are also many popular dishes, such as “Tsukuiten” (okonomiyaki with seafood, beef, sweet potato and many other ingredients), “Okomeyaki” (rice cooked with okonomiyaki) which we recommend trying at least once.
